Landscape Management nabs 11 Azbee Awards from ASBPE

LM-team-ASBPE-awardsCLEVELAND, Ohio — August 18, 2015 —North Coast Media is pleased to announce Landscape Management (LM) received national and regional recognition from the American Society of Business Press Editors (ASBPE), a professional association for full-time and freelance editors, writers, art directors and designers, for its excellence in digital, editorial and design content. LM earned seven regional and four national Azbee Awards at the 2015 Heartland Region Azbee Awards banquet in Cleveland on August 13.

LM’s sister publications were also recognized by ASBPE, with Golfdom winning two regional awards and Pest Management Professional (PMP) earning two national and five regional awards. LM’s 11 awards included:

Landscape Management earns 15 awards from Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association

CLEVELAND, Ohio — May 12, 2015 — North Coast Media is pleased to announce Landscape Management (LM) continues to be recognized for its outstanding editorial excellence and design by the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) earning 14 honors and one Gardner Award at TOCA’s annual awards ceremony held in Milwaukee on May 7. These results continue LM‘s eight-year run of winning more awards than its competing publications and more awards than any industry publication in the 26-year history of TOCA.

LM‘s sister publication Golfdom reaped a total of 16 awards: 15 TOCA awards and one Gardner Award. North Coast Media once again led all publishing companies that competed for TOCA awards in the golf and landscape markets with 31 awards.

Landscape Management promotes Marisa Palmieri to editor in chief, names new associate editor

CLEVELAND, Ohio — August 22, 2013 — North Coast Media, LLC (NCM) promotes Marisa Palmieri to editor in chief of Landscape Management (LM) and adds Sarah Pfledderer to the new position of associate editor of LM.

“It’s with tremendous pride that I announce the promotion of Marisa Palmieri to editor-in-chief,” says Bill Roddy, publisher of Landscape Management. “Marisa has been instrumental in bringing a fresh voice and new ideas to Landscape Management. In addition to continuing the LM tradition of producing an award-winning magazine, she has helped the brand make significant strides with our digital, event, social, talk radio and webinar strategies.”

Palmieri has won numerous awards for her coverage of the landscape and golf course markets from the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA), the Press Club of Cleveland and the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). In 2007, ASBPE named Palmieri a Young Leader.
