Award-winning journalist Marty Whitford joined the company in 2004. He has served North Coast Media brands in edit and sales capacities. Whitford was appointed Publisher and Corporate Editorial Director in 2012. In 2021, he was promoted to Vice President of Content. Whitford graduated from Kent State University’s School of Journalism & Mass Communication in 1993. Prior to that, he served a four-year stint in the U.S. Navy. Whitford brings with him 30 years of experience in B2B integrated media.

Terri Johnstone-Mueller

Terri Johnstone-Mueller joined NCM in July 2013. Terri started her career in publishing in 1982 with Advanstar Communications in a finance role in accounts payable, then moved to a production role in 1995. In her current position, Terri oversees production services for NCM, including numerous facets of our professional publishing business. Terri contributes to her community as treasurer for Habitat for Humanity of Sawyer County in Hayward, Wis.

Courtney Townsend

Courtney Townsend is the art director for GPS World magazine. She also contributes to all of the NCM print magazines as well as the marketing department. Graduated from Bowling Green State University, with more than 21 years experience in print design and prepress. She thrives on deadline-driven environments and brings her organizational skills in the fast-paced publishing industry to NCM.
