Golfdom editor spotted interviewing Arnold Palmer

Golfdom Editor-in-chief Seth Jones was spotted walking into an interview with Arnold Palmer before the aptly titled Arnold Palmer Invitational PGA Tour event at Bay Hill Club & Lodge. Jones was working on his The Golfdom Conversation Q&A with Palmer at the time.

“A staff member came into the room and mentioned two men who were outside the office and wanted to say hello. One was Seth Jones, the editor of Golfdom magazine who recently interviewed Palmer for a project he was working on.

“Well, bring him in,” Palmer said, rising from behind his desk with a broadening smile. Dressed in slacks and a pink shirt, Palmer made sure the two men met everyone in the room and made small talk for a few minutes before closing with that powerful handshake and a smile. “Nice to see you guys,” he told them.

It doesn’t hurt that the shout-out comes in an article that includes the clickbait-friendly model Kate Upton in the headline. Palmer was reportedly having dinner with Upton, one Sports Illustrated cover veteran to another, later in the week. No word if Jones will be there, too.
