His experience ranges from selling sports entertainment with the Akron Aeros and Cleveland Cavaliers, real estate with Russell Real Estate Services, and media sales with PR Newswire and North Coast Media. Tim enjoys communicating with others in an effective and professional manner, while working to meet each seller and/or buyer’s personal needs.

A graduate of Kent State University’s graphic design program, Julie Sweany worked as a designer in a variety of publishing, agency, and freelance roles before becoming interested in web development. This interest prompted further education and a career transition, beginning with work for an e-commerce company and leading up to her current role with North Coast Media.


	

NCM Brands, Golfdom and Landscape Management Win 24 Industry Awards

CLEVELAND, Ohio — June 7, 2023 — North Coast Media (NCM) is delighted to share the news that Landscape Management (LM) and Golfdom were honored with a total of 24 accolades in the prestigious 2023 TOCA Communications Awards Contest. This event, organized by the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA), acknowledges exceptional achievements in writing, design, photography, videography and interactive projects within the green industry on an annual basis. NCM takes great pride in the success of LM and Golfdom in this competition. 

“We are tremendously proud of the achievements accomplished by the LM and Golfdom teams,” said NCM CEO Kevin Stoltman. “These awards serve as a testament to the remarkable talent, dedication and hard work of our team.”

“2022 was a great year for our teams on both Landscape Management and Golfdom magazines,” said Seth Jones, editor-in-chief of both publications. “Seeing the covers of our magazines projected on the screen as they were announced filled me with pride, as it demonstrated that our hard work covering these markets is recognized.” 

Golfdom took home 8 awards at this year’s event, while LM earned 15 awards including 2 Gardner (Best-In-Show) awards for Cover Page Designs and Blogs.

NCM staff recognized for their work include Jones; Pete Seltzer, VP of Graphic Design & Production; Christina Herrick, Editor; Joey Ciccolini, Digital Media Content Producer; Tracie Martinez, Art Director; Rob DiFranco, Associate Editor; and many contributors.
