Since its inception on May 1, 2012, North Coast Media (NCM) has been the largest B2B publishing company headquartered in Cleveland. NCM began expanding its team on day one – and hasn’t stopped since, doubling the staff size in three years.

In his 20 years of B2B sales and management experience, Kevin Stoltman has specialized in devising winning strategies for advertising partners while inspiring his employees to do the same. Kevin founded North Coast Media in 2012 after serving as vice president of sales and marketing for the industrial and specialty group of Questex Media Group. Six of the nine iconic brands now owned by NCM have been under Kevin’s leadership for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Questex, Kevin spent five years in sales roles for Meister Publishing’s nursery and specialty ag publications. Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Toledo.
Steve Galperin has 10 years of B2B experience, including mergers & acquisition expertise, and works with all areas of the business to execute growth strategies. A graduate of John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and minor in economics, he specializes in maximizing integrated media company profits.
A graduate of Wittenberg University, Pete Seltzer has more than 20 years of hands-on experience as an art director in all aspects of the design and production of editorial, promotional and marketing creative. Over his career, Pete has garnered numerous national and regional design awards from organizations such as the American Society of Business Press Editors, the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors, Folio and the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association.
Debbie Pipik has more than 20 years’ experience in human resources. She was an integral part in transitioning all human resources functions from Questex Media, where she had worked as regional HR manager for seven years, to the newly formed North Coast Media in 2012. Prior to working in B2B publishing, Debbie worked with the non-profit organization University Circle Inc. in the accounting, HR and president’s office.
Pat Roberts led the transition of Golfdom from Questex Media Group to NCM since its inception in 2012. He focuses on creating new value for advertisers by helping them take full advantage of the magazine’s array of marketing products and vehicles.
Alan Cameron has worked for GPS World since 2000. He focuses on the technology, business and political aspects of positioning, navigation and timing through international global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) and other positioning systems. He also writes the GNSS Design & Test eNewsletter.
Chris De Cicco, a graduate of The University of Dayton, has more than 10 years of sales, marketing and operations experience. Chris utilizes his experiences to help clients develop advertising solutions to strengthen their position in the landscape management industry.
Breanna Frierson has experience in both inside and outside sales, a career she embarked on after graduating from Ohio University in 2014. Breanna finds making personal connections with clients and staff rewarding. A consummate team player, Breanna provides sales support and manages the company’s CRM system.
Rob Fulop has been part of the P&Q group since 1998, and was promoted to publisher in 2008 and group publisher in 2015. His accomplishments include the growth of PP&E, the introduction of the annual Pit & Quarry Hall of Fame event in 2013, and the evolution of the annual Pit & Quarry Roundtable.
Ryan Gerard graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. As the newest account manager for PMP and LP Gas magazines he uses his creativity and intuition to create and maintain successful marketing strategies with a wide array of advertisers in the pest management and propane gas industries.
Jake Goodman works with a diverse portfolio of clients in the professional landscaping and golf course management industries who are looking to strengthen their position in the marketplace. Jake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Marshall University.
Mike Joyce, a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, has more than 20 years of marketing and sales experience. He utilizes his skill set to help clients develop marketing strategies and advertising solutions to strengthen their position in the pest management marketplace.
Chloe Scoular shapes and builds the annual print directory for NCM’s online buyers’ guides. Scoular brings with her 10 years of experience in sales and customer service, with the last five years in a management role. She enjoys sharing with companies the many benefits buyers’ guides serve as online reference tools.
Brian Kanaba builds and maintains marketing partnerships by combining a mix of professional leadership and business strategy. By hosting the industry’s only Hall of Fame event and Propane Growth Summit, Brian has helped grow LP Gas to the industry’s leading publication. He has been with LP Gas for 15 years.
Craig MacGregor, a graduate of Cleveland State University, brings with him 15 years of experience in marketing and media sales. Prior to NCM, Craig worked at Design Room Creative, a strategic marketing firm; Elyria Broadcasting Group in its radio, print and web departments; and Advanstar Communications.
Michelle Mitchell, a graduate from The University of Toledo, works with advertisers for the magazine, its two websites, nine eNewsletters, webinars, videos and more. Her vast marketing experience helps her develop creative and results-oriented marketing programs customized to the needs of each client.
Bill Roddy is responsible for LM‘s profitability, sales, marketing, editorial, circulation, production and distribution. Prior to joining NCM in 2013, Bill spent 12 years managing large accounts at FMC, Syngenta and Melamed Riley Advertising, and spent eight years in product marketing with DAP Products.
Petra Turko, a Cleveland State University graduate, provides assistance and support for various departments and publications throughout NCM. Some of her responsibilities include managing the company’s CRM system, coordinating trade shows and travel arrangements, and deploying in-house marketing promotions.
Kelli Velasquez attended Rowan University (formerly known as Glassboro State College) where she majored in business administration with a specialization in marketing. She has held sales positions since 1997 and currently maintains existing accounts while bringing new prospects both in print and online media.
Dino Vitanza earned his marketing and business communications degree at Cleveland State University and has been in the B2B media industry for more than 10 years. He partners with advertisers to develop marketing strategies and advertising solutions which, in turn, increases their value with aggregate mining industry readers.
As the company’s marketing manager, Scott Gebler is responsible for advancing all of North Coast Media’s brands and their related products to both advertisers and end audiences. He has more than 10 years of experience in Cleveland-area corporate marketing departments and advertising agencies and is a 2004 graduate of Ohio University’s College of Business.
Antoinette Sanchez-Perkins has more than 20 years of experience in B2B media print and digital audience development. Her expertise in database and list management and controlled circulation audits and assessments helps advertisers to target the right audiences with their messaging and to see detailed data regarding the brands with which they interact. Antoinette began her career with Penton Media as circulation fulfillment manager for Electronic Design magazine.
Alexis (Lexi) Korczynski earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus in integrated marketing communications from John Carroll University. She is responsible for the creation and implementation of user-side marketing plans for each of the North Coast Media brands. Her background in digital media marketing and public relations helps her create integrated campaigns relevant to unique audiences.
Award-winning journalist Marty Whitford came aboard PMP in 2005. He graduated from Kent State University’s School of Journalism & Mass Communication in 1993. Prior to that, he served a four-year stint in the U.S. Navy. Marty brings with him 23 years of experience in B2B integrated media.
Marisa Palmieri drives the overall editorial strategy for LM. An alumna of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, she’s won many awards from the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association and the American Society of Business Press Editors for her coverage of the landscape and golf course markets.
Seth Jones, a graduate of Kansas University’s William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, was voted best columnist of 2014 by the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association. Seth has 15 years of experience in the golf and turf industries and has traveled the world seeking great stories.
Darren Constantino, a recipient of numerous editorial awards, has nearly 20 years of experience at P&Q. A 1986 graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in communications, he has worked throughout his career on magazines and newspapers in both editorial and graphic design roles.
Brian Richesson, a 10-year industry veteran, oversees the editorial direction of LP Gas. He works in tandem with the publication’s print and digital editors to develop hot story topics and pinpoint emerging trends, ensuring the comprehensive coverage of a changing propane industry.
Heather Gooch first joined PMP as an assistant editor in 1995. After 10 years with the magazine, she “retired” to become a freelance writer, but she worked behind-the-scenes for PMP during her freelance years. In 2015, however, she heeded the call to return as managing editor.
Tracy Cozzens has been managing editor of GPS World since 2006. A graduate of the University of Oregon School of Journalism, she has been a reporter and editor, communications manager for Westinghouse, editor of the U.S. Department of Energy’s magazine and an educational technology book editor.
Diane Sofranec has more than 20 years of experience in the B2B media market, holding various writing and editing roles. Her print and digital expertise encompasses writing news and feature stories, creating content for websites and social media outlets, and generating eNewsletters.
Grant Gannon holds a degree in journalism from The Ohio State University where he worked as a reporter and copy editor at the university’s newspaper, The Lantern. Prior to his role at NCM, Grant was an intern for CoachFickell.com and worked at The Columbus Dispatch.

Megan Wilkinson has a news journalism degree and public relations minor from Kent State University. During her time at Kent State, she held editorial roles for the university’s newspaper, Daily Kent Stater. Megan worked as a reporter for Vindicator in Youngstown, Ohio, prior to joining NCM.
Karey Constant has worked as a senior accountant in the B2B publishing sector for the past decade. Prior to that she managed accounts payable and receivable, payroll and financial reporting, among others, for a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit businesses. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a certification in human resources from Ursuline College.
Susanne Knauer has been senior cash and collections analyst at NCM since joining the company in 2013. Susanne assists clients with payment schedules that meet their cash flow needs. She has 22 years of accounting and finance experience in the publishing, multimedia and music industries. Susanne is a 1993 graduate of Kent State University.
Eva Major has more than 20 years of customer service skills. Eva has worked in accounting for the past decade, where she has specialized in employee training and team leadership. As accounts payable specialist, she ensures lasting strategic relationships between NCM and key partners.
Bethany Chambers has a bachelor’s degree in business from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in journalism with a focus in interactive publishing from Northwestern University’s Medill School. She has won numerous awards for her writing and reporting and is a National Press Club fellow. Bethany’s experiences in the marketing, digital and editorial sides of the newsroom help her conceptualize ways to bring new media audiences and advertisers together.
Joelle Harms, an Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism graduate, creates content for NCM’s digital properties, including eNewsletters, videos, social media and websites. Her specialization in creative writing aids in developing the content voice and message for the company’s online presence.
Jesse Malcmacher holds a bachelor’s degree in digital arts from Bowling Green State University with a focus in interactive design and 3-D animation. With his exceptional knowledge of design and technology, he has received awards and industry recognition for his work related to advertising and marketing. Allison Barwacz holds a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with specializations in Spanish and English. Her understanding of the ever-changing digital media world allows her to quickly grasp what a target audience desires and create content that is appealing and relevant for any client across any platform.
Kelly Limpert is a graduate of Ohio University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Leyna Chovan has a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting from Marietta College and a master’s degree in communication, with a focus in mass media, from the University of Akron. She monitors the analytics of advertising campaigns for North Coast Media, and creates monthly and quarterly reports for staff and clients. Her background in TV news and quantitative market research methods help her explain the meanings behind numbers, and provide actionable insight on campaign performances.
Grace Rybak has a bachelor’s degree in promotional communication with focuses in public relations and marketing from Cleveland State University. Her passion for writing and content marketing enables her to craft messages that effectively market clients’ brands while engaging and serving end audiences. Grace creates and manages sponsored content for advertisers and assists with NCM’s corporate marketing efforts.
Abby Harder is a sophomore at Ohio University, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from the university’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Abby is a digital media intern for NCM, and is working to improve her feature and hard news writing skills in a collaborative office setting. She is looking forward to learning new skills, including video and photo editing, HTML coding, content management systems and other digital tools.
Bridget Ebner is a junior at Ohio University majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Marketing. Bridget is a team player and takes pride in her organizational and communication skills. She is looking forward to gaining real world experience in the marketing field through her internship at North Coast Media this summer.
Kim Traum is the art director for Pit & Quarry, Portable Plants & Equipment and LP Gas magazines. She has more than 20 years of experience as an art director, specializing in trade publication design, and has won awards from a variety of professional organizations. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and graphic design from Kent State University.
Tracie Martinez is the art director for Landscape Management and Pest Management Professional magazines. She has won numerous design awards from the Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association and the American Society of Business Publication Editors. She graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication, summa cum laude, in 1995.
Bobbi Ware has more than 20 years’ design experience working in the B2B media environment. She uses her extensive design experience to create impactful promotional materials including print and digital advertisements and custom eblasts for NCM brands. She also provides creative services for many of the company’s customers and partners.
Courtney Townsend, who earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Bowling Green State University, is a creative graphic designer with more than 12 years’ experience in print design and prepress. She thrives on deadline-driven environments and brings her organizational skills in the fast-paced publishing industry to NCM.
Rhonda Sande brings more than 32 years of experience in the publishing industry to NCM, specializing in print production. Her responsibilities include production workflow, ad management, scheduling, mechanical budgeting and customer service to internal and external customers.
Terri Johnstone-Mueller joined NCM in July 2013. Terri started her career in publishing in 1982 with Advanstar Communications in a finance role in accounts payable, then moved to a production role in 1995. In her current position, Terri oversees production services for NCM, including numerous facets of our professional publishing business. Terri contributes to her community as treasurer for Habitat for Humanity of Sawyer County in Hayward, Wis.
Jeff Heide has nearly 20 years of experience working in the B2B media environment. Starting out as a shipping clerk, he now handles a wide variety of duties from fulfilling book orders to supervising the complex logistics for the numerous trade shows NCM brands attend each year, from magazine distribution to booth setup. Jeff’s attention to detail is integral to the smooth running of daily operations at NCM’s Cleveland headquarters.
